In Lancaster, coffee shops cluster around downtown offices, college campuses and the main commercial streets of residential neighborhoods, and the independents usually close by mid-afternoon while chains stay open into the evening. Across Pennsylvania, drive-thru coffee stands and kiosks fill the gap in suburbs and along highways, and roasters often sell bags and brewing gear at the counter. Food and drink 10/10 limited seating but its cozy. Caramel Latte and Blueberry Lavender Matcha were excellent along with bacon egg and cheese sandwiches that came with Mayo, mustard and Sriracha. Recommend.

A Taste of New Orleans in Lancaster: If you’re craving a genuine beignet experience without booking a flight to Louisiana, look no further than Lancaster Beignet Company. This charming spot has quickly become one of my favorite morning destinations, capturing the soul of the French Quarter right here at home. The star of the show? Their large, pillowy beignets (see photo), generously loaded with powdered sugar that dusts your fingers (and sometimes your shirt) with every blissful bite. Paired with authentic Cafe du Monde coffee, it’s a match made in breakfast heaven. One bite and I was instantly transported back to my first beignet experience in the β€œBig Easy” on Decatur Streetβ€”the same airy texture, the same sweet indulgence, and that unmistakable nostalgia. What truly sets Lancaster Beignet Company apart is the atmosphere. I especially love the outdoor cafe seating, where you can soak up the morning sun while sipping your coffee and savoring breakfast. It’s the perfect relaxed vibeβ€”warm rays, fresh air, and the aroma of coffee and fried dough making everything feel just a little more special. The menu strikes an ideal balance: it offers variety for everyone without being over

Lancaster Beignet has some of the best beignets I’ve ever tasted. They’re especially delicious when eaten fresh on the spot. The service can be a bit slow, though, so if you’re in a hurry, I’d recommend placing your order ahead of time before arriving. Street parking is limited, but I’ve always been able to find a spot. If you’re taking the beignets home, I recommend skipping the powdered sugar or asking for it on the side. It makes reheating them much easier in the microwave or air fryer.

A slice of Nawlins in Lancaster PA? It might seem hard to believe but its true. Nothing beats the real thing from Cafe du Monde, but they're frying up delicious, authentic beignets at this place. They have also added a few fun breakfast sandwiches. The BBLT was terrific. The staff was very warm and welcoming. The location is small but charming and inviting. They also make a very solid hot chocolate to wash down your beignet. Go grab one!

Super cozy lil gem! My husband and I went for the morning and got their breakfast sandwich and their Teddy Graham latte special. Both were amazing and tasty! The cashier was super nice and kind, very welcoming. She asked if we had any questions and she knew her menu well. The cook in the back brought the sandwich out and was super kind. They started getting a lot of people after we came in so definitely come early! They offer to go or order in. Definitely recommend this little gem for a lil coffee break or a quick breakfast trip.
